I’m Alex Davis—an author and game developer who loves building worlds where nature has opinions and people don’t always make the right choices. Whether I’m drafting a fantasy novel or prototyping a chaotic roguelite, I’m drawn to stories about transformation, legacy, and the thin line between control and connection.
I earned my BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University, where I picked up a few Course Director Awards along the way. My background in screenwriting shapes the way I write and design: clear character motivations, cinematic moments, and worlds that feel lived-in rather than decorative.
Right now, I’m developing The Wildmark, a naturepunk fantasy IP about ancient forces waking up and choosing unlikely champions. On the game dev side, I’m building Billionaire Bunker Buster, a satirical action-survival roguelite about raiding billionaire bunkers after the apocalypse. Two very different vibes, same obsession with immersive worlds and character-driven storytelling.
When I’m not writing or building, I pull inspiration from mythology, wilderness, and games that aren’t afraid to get weird. My goal, no matter the medium, is to create stories that linger long after the screen or page goes dark.
